People from all walks of life in Chalitabunia Union of Rangabali Upazila of Patuakhali have formed a human chain in front of the National Press Club in Dhaka, demanding effective measures to prevent river erosion. The human chain program was held at 11 am on Friday.
The human chain was led by former vice-chancellor of Patuakhali University of Science and Technology Professor Abdul Latif Masum. Present were Chalitabunia Union BNP President Md. Bahauddin Howlader, Senior Vice President Md. Delwar Hossain, Dhaka Chalitabunia Association Vice Presidents Rajib Zubair and Badal Farazi, and prominent industrialist Rakibul Hasan Almas.
