On 26 July 2025, a dynamic interactive discussion took place at the Department of Environment auditorium, hosted by a powerful network of organizations including Waterkeepers Bangladesh, Shocheton Foundation, Climate Frontier, Brighters, CAPS, OAB Foundation, Youth Environmental Development Organization (YEDO), YOUCAN, C3ER, Environmental Shapers Network (ESN), CPRD, O.CREEDS, Dhaka North City Corporation and NACOM. The event brought together voices from various political parties, youth organizations, civil society, academia, and the private sector to spotlight issues of water, agriculture, and food security — aiming to integrate these vital concerns into upcoming election manifestos. Distinguished guests included leaders like Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury (BNP), Saiful Haque (Biplobi Workers Party), Abdul Awal Mintu (Lal Teer Seed Ltd), Rashed Khan (Gono Odhikar Parishad), Zonayed Saki (Gonosanghati Andolon), and many others from political and institutional spheres. Rizwana Hasan, Adviser for Environment, Forest and Climate Change of Bangladesh, graced the event as Chief Guest. From youth to experts, the conversation resonated with urgency and hope — moderated by Habibur Rahman of Shocheton Foundation. Syed Taposh attended the event on behalf of Waterkeepers Bangladesh.
