In Satkhira a colorful rally, discussion meeting and award distribution ceremony were held to celebrate World Environment Day 2025 with the theme “No More Plastic Pollution”. The rally organized by the Satkhira District Administration and Environment Department, Dhoritri Rokhhay Amra (DHORA), Waterkeepers Bangladesh and other organizations. Speakers at the discussion said, “To protect ourselves from microplastics, we need to be aware and responsible. In addition, we need to stop using all types of plastic.”
A rally was organized by Dhoritri Rokhhay Amra (DHORA) at Satmatha in Bogra district. The rally was attended by Professor Khayyam Quader of Government Azizul Haque College, President of Jamuna Rakhhay Amra (JORA), Mujibur Rahman, Principal of Government Women’s College, Advocate Mozammel Haque, Former General Secretary, Bogura District Bar Council and leaders of different social organizations and students of schools.
